Group Training

The club holds a number of weekly group sessions which are either coached or led.

Unless otherwise specified the sessions are designed to cater for all abilities and you are welcome to just turn up.  More information on locations may be found here.

Monday:

  • 7.30 - 8:30 pm: Track Running (coached by Colin Bradley, Simon Zacharzewski & Paul Williamson)
    • Stantonbury Running Track
    • After warming up, some technical drills to improve your form and then intervals tailored to your ability.
    • Small charge to cover track hire

Tuesday:

  • 8:00 - 9:00 pm: Indoor Bike Intervals Session (coached by Brian Wright)
    • Astral Park
    • Popular session run in blocks - contact Brian to check availabilty / get added to the waiting list for the next block
    • The club has Smart Turbo Trainers which may be borrowed for a block.

Wednesday:

  • 7:20 - 8:30 pm: Yoga (coached by Clare Hodges)
    • Mentmore Park Pavillion, Mentmore Road, Linslade, LU7 2NZ
    • Small charge to cover venue hire
    • Please reply to Facebook invite if possible.
    • Bring your own mat etc. if you have one - but some available to borrow

Thursday:

  • 7:45 - 8:45pm: Running (led)
    • Meet at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre (from 7:30)
    • Several ability groups, with a mixture of temp runs, hills, intervals.  Every six weeks assess your progress on the 5k hotlap.
    • Free of charge
  • 9.00 - 10:00 pm: Lane Swimming (coached)
    • Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre
    • Multiple groups/lanes to cater for all abilities.  A mixture of technical drills and fitness work.
    • £3 charge to cover pool hire.

Saturday:

  • 7:30 am: Long, slow(ish) run  (led by Simon Zacharzewski)
    • Meet at Tesco Car Park, Leighton Buzzard
    • A sociable way to start the weekend!

Sunday:

  • 8.30am: Cycle Ride (led)
    • Meet at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre
    • Typically two rides of different lengths and speeds to cater for different capabilities.   Groups will aways cycle at the pace of the slowest rider.

  • 5:30 - 6:30 pm: Threshold Training Lane Swimming (coached)
    • Bletchley Leisure Centre
    • Very popular session - limited spaces and reservation required for 12 week block.   Watch Facebook for details.
    • Small charge to cover pool hire.
  • 6:30 - 7:30 pm: Endurance Training Lane Swimming (coached)
    • Bletchley Leisure Centre
    • Very popular session - limited spaces and reservation required for 12 week block.  Watch Facebook for details.
    • Small charge to cover pool hire.

Based at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre, we offer weekly training sessions led by qualified British Triathlon Coaches.  Come to see us on Thursday evenings from 7.30 pm - we start running at 7.45 pm and return to the swimming pool for 9.00 pm.
